LOUISVILLE, Ky. (August 14, 2018) – The 43rd Annual Governor’s Local Issues Conference began today in Louisville, with public servants and business leaders gathering at the Galt House Hotel for the opening session and first day of workshops.
The conference, which goes through Aug. 16, is expected to bring together more than 800 attendees, who will learn from expert presenters about issues of importance to local officials and their communities.
The conference is organized and funded by the non-profit organization Kentucky Local Issues Conference, Inc., with support from the Department for Local Government (DLG) and the Office of the Governor.
