Kentucky’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Certified Administrator Training was held in Frankfort on June 22-25. There was a large class of twenty-five students. The training is held each year if there is sufficient interest. The training provides future administrators with a strong foundation in the rules and requirements of administering a CDBG grant.

The training is based on the CDBG Handbook (provided at the training session) and covers among other items: Project Administration & Financial Management Responsibilities, Environmental Review Requirements, Procurement and Contracting, Labor Standards and Construction Management, Acquisition and Relocation Requirements and Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity Regulations.
