FRANKFORT, Ky. (Feb. 3, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin has appointed Lisa Marie Adams, of Bardwell, as Magistrate for the First District of Carlisle County, to replace Burley Mathis.
Adams currently serves as program director for the Carlisle County School System’s S.T.A.R.S. Family Resource and Youth Services Center and actively volunteers with community organizations such as Carlisle County 4-H and the Carlisle County chapter of Ducks Unlimited.
She shall serve until this position is filled in accordance with the results of the November 2018 midterm election, pursuant to the provisions of Section 152 of the Kentucky Constitution.
