Gov. Bevin Invites Students to Join Him Online for 'Read Across America Day' Tomorrow

FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 1, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin invites elementary school classrooms across the Commonwealth to tune in tomorrow, as he reads aloud from Dr. Seuss’ renowned children’s book Oh, the Places You’ll Go, during “Read Across America Day.”

The video will post at 7:30 a.m. (EST) on the Governor’s official Facebook page (https://www.Facebook.com/GovMattBevin) and will remain accessible for viewing any time thereafter.

“Read Across America Day,” sponsored by the National Education Association (NEA), is an annual awareness and motivation campaign that encourages every child in America to celebrate reading on March 2—the birthday of beloved author Dr. Seuss.
