Who should attend: Previously certified individuals must attend one of the sessions in Lexington in order to maintain their certification. NOTE: All Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) administrators in the Commonwealth of Kentucky must maintain certification to administer CDBG projects.

Tuition: Registration for this course is FREE of charge.

Registration: Complete the attached Registration Form. Fax your form to (502) 573-1519 or e-mail to: jessica.razor@ky.gov. No phone registrations will be accepted. The registration form must be received by the Department for Local Government (DLG) no later than Monday, November 9, 2015. Please indicate which 2 day class you will be attending. Each class size will be limited to 100 people. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your registration is received and accepted. Accommodations: The DoubleTree Hotel is all suites. They are offering a government rate of $102 per night plus tax. They will hold a small block of rooms until mid October. Make your reservations directly with them at 1(800)319-7298. They will know the group as “CDBG Training”. There are several restaurants in addition to the hotel restaurant within walking distance including Panera Bread, Sweet Lily’s Frozen Yogurt & Coffee, Miyako Japanese Hibachi & Sushi and The Crust Artisan Pizza.

Training Room: The DoubleTree training room is located on the back side of the atrium lobby. Parking is available on the side and in back of the hotel. Please note that the November 16 class will begin at noon on Monday and last until 4:30 pm on Tuesday. The November 18 class will begin at 8:30 on Wednesday and end at noon on Thursday. An agenda with specific times will be sent to you at a later date.

Special Needs: The training location is accessible to persons with physical disabilities. Persons who need auxiliary aids or services, such as interpreters for persons who are hearing impaired, a reader, or large print, are asked to contact DLG at (502) 573-2382 at least three weeks prior to the workshop so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Individuals using TTY/TDD machines may access DLG at (800) 648-6056.
