CDBG Administrator Re-Certification Training

Who should attend: Previously certified individuals must attend one of the sessions in order to maintain their certification. NOTE: All Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) administrators in the Commonwealth of Kentucky must maintain certification to administer CDBG projects.

Tuition: Registration for this course is FREE of charge.

Registration: Complete the online registration form at https://kydlgweb.ky.gov/FederalGrants/16_CDBG_Registration.cfm
No phone registrations will be accepted. The registration form must be received by the Department for Local Government (DLG) no later than Monday, November 27, 2017. Please indicate which 2-day class you will be attending. Each class size will be limited to 100 people. You will receive an e-mail confirmation once your registration is received and accepted. Accommodations: The training facility is located near the Fairfield Inn by Marriott (502) 695-8881 and Best Western Parkside Inn (502) 695-6111 for lodging. Restaurants within a 5-10 mile radius are Logan’s Roadhouse, Cracker Barrel, Buffalo Wild Wings, Cattleman’s Roadhouse, Dairy Queen, Starbucks, Taco Bell, Waffle House, Two-Sisters Café, Miguel’s Restaurant, Kentucky Fried Chicken, Zaxby’s, Pizza Inn, White Castle, Penn Station, Garcia’s, Asian Buffet, Arby’s, and McDonalds.

Training Room: The Kentucky Association of Counties (KACo) training room. The entrance to the training area is located on the backside of the KACo building in the lower parking lot. There are signs along the roadside that direct you to the training area and parking.

Special Needs: The training location is accessible to persons with physical disabilities. Persons who need auxiliary aids or services, such as interpreters for persons who are hearing impaired, a reader, or large print, are asked to contact DLG at (502) 573-2382 at least three weeks prior to the workshop so that appropriate arrangements can be made. Individuals using TTY/TDD machines may access DLG at (800) 648-6056.
